Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Aetheria, including buyers of our artwork and anyone who submits text, names, locations, or themes through our creation form. It supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Aetheria to create, submit, request, or attempt to obtain any of the following. This list is explicit and non-exhaustive:

  1. Sexual or NSFW content — pornography, sexualised imagery, or any sexually explicit material.
  2. Violence or gore — graphic violence, cruelty, self-harm, or content that glorifies injury to people or animals.
  3. Hate speech — content that attacks, dehumanises, or incites hostility against any person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
  4. Child safety — any content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation — content that depicts a real person without their consent, or that is intended to deceive others about a real person's identity, words, or actions.
  6. Copyright or trademark infringement — content that reproduces or is derived from material you do not have the rights to use, or that misuses another party's brand.

We also do not accept content that is unlawful in the jurisdictions we serve, that promotes fraud, or that is submitted with the intent to abuse, probe, or overload our systems.

3. Enforcement

If we determine that this policy has been breached, we may take any of the following actions, depending on severity:

  1. Removal — the offending submission or generated content is deleted and will not be delivered.
  2. Refusal — the order is declined and refunded, and no artwork is produced.
  3. Suspension or termination — the account or email address is blocked and any remaining balance or unused credit is forfeited.
  4. Reporting — where required by law, the matter is reported to the relevant authorities.

We apply these measures in good faith and only where there is a genuine breach.

4. Reporting a Violation

If you believe content on or from Aetheria breaches this policy, email support@aetheriasanctuary.com with the subject line "AUP Report" and include the order reference or link, what you believe is wrong, and how we can reach you. Reports are monitored by our team and we aim to acknowledge every report within 24–48 hours.

5. How We Review Content

Every order passes through automated filtering before generation, and submissions flagged by that filter are held for human review before anything is produced or delivered. Because our artwork is generated from a short set of structured inputs rather than free-form prompts, the surface for abuse is narrow — but the filter and the human review step apply regardless.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. The current version is always published at this address.
